We understand you may have some questions regarding our Services or Equipment. We have attempted to answer some of our most frequently asked questions for you.
Question 1:
Will I have to operate the machine myself?
Answer 1:
Any EWP that has a capacity over 11m requires a fully certified operator to manage the machine under all circumstances. At Budget we provide a fully trained and certified operator with each machine.
Each truck has a set of Safety Harnesses, Witches hats, safety signs, two way Radios (X 3) for communication from ground to bucket.
Question 2:
Does the Company carry Insurance cover?
Answer 2:
Budget Height Access carries Industrial special plant cover and Public Liability cover to the value of $20,000,000. We also have Qld Workcover Insurance for all employees.
Question 3:
How often are the machines checked for safety and compliance within acceptable Industry standards?
Answer 3:
Each machine is required to be put through a quarterly inspection by a licensed Inspector with a full record of each service and inspection kept for each Tower. Our Insulated (X2) Towers also have a 6 monthly Electrical check to ensure that they are fully compliant.
Each truck is required to be visually inspected by the operator each day and a log book is filled out prior to any work commencing.
